Was the title of the presentation given by María Verónica Lavieri at the V Foro Mundial de Conocimiento Libre (Fifth World Forum of Free Knowledge), an international event, open and includes communities organized in conjunction with researchers, practitioners and users, private companies and the Government Bolivariano (Venezuela).

María Verónica Lavieri, a Computer Engineer at the University Fermin Toro (UFT), Lara – Venezuela, has participated in national events, including Asovac Chapter Lara to work “ System Cooperative with Robotic Vision.” In 2004 Maria began a career as a university teacher, being a teacher of logic, and computer database and Polytechnic Institutes of Maracay. Maria joined the Free Software movement in Venezuela an active since October 2006, when became part of PLUG and ActivistasXSL, and organized the 3rd CNSL headquarters Portuguese

María Verónica is a enthusiasts Free software and XOOPS Spanish contributor. She also lead a female spanish web site called < Entiendelas > [2].

The First World Forum of Free Knowledge began in the year 2004 in the city of Caracas, and since then has traveled to Kerala (India), Maracaibo and Maturin to bring communities the knowledge, technology and the freedom of information.

In November this year, The Fifth World Forum was Held in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela where the presentation about XOOPS was given by Engineer María Verónica Lavieri on November 22th. Our friend María Verónica represented XOOPS Spanish Community and her Linux Venezuela Group (activistasxsl) [1] in this conference.
